Cameron Alborzian (born 26 February ), also known as Yogi Cameron, is an American wellness writer and former model.

Widely recognized as one of the first male supermodels in the fashion industry, he transitioned from the catwalk to holistic healing, becoming a practitoner of Ayurvedic medicine, yoga, and ancient wellness systems. [1]

Alborzian first rose to prominence in the late s and early s as a trailblazing male supermodel.

He worked with some of the world’s most iconic fashion houses, including Guess,[2]Levi's, Versace, Christian Dior, Valentino, Chanel, Gucci,[3]Jean Paul Gaultier,[4]Dolce & Gabbana,[5]Karl Lagerfeld, Montana, John Galliano or Yves Saint Laurent.

Alborzian was born in Tehran, Iran to an English mother and Iranian father.[6][7] He grew up in the United Kingdom.

His modeling career began after a scout on the street spotted him on the streets of London. Several weeks later, he appeared in a Jean Paul Gaultier show in Paris to start off his career.[8]

He worked with some of the world’s most iconic fashion houses, including Jean-Paul Gaultier, Chanel, and Versace, and appeared in high-profile campaigns and runway shows. His striking looks and charismatic presence earned him the title of one of the first male "supermodels."

He is perhaps best known for his appearance in Madonna’s music video for Express Yourself, which cemented his place as a cultural icon during the era.

Along with Gaultier, he worked for other designers such as Dior and YSL. He did not achieve wider fame for his work until he landed a contract with Guess jeans in [9]

This work earned him a great deal of attention, including that of Madonna, Alborzian played her love interest in the music video for her song Express Yourself.[10][11] He appeared in the music video for Elton John's "Something About the Way You Look Tonight", also starring Kate Moss.[12] In , he ended his career in fashion after he joined fellow models Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, and Kate Moss in visiting Nelson Mandela in South Africa for a charity event to benefit the Mandela Fund.[10]

After the death of his close friend and mentor in naturopathy,[13] Alborzian attended the Integral Yoga and Yogaville teacher training in New York.[14] as well as a reflexology masters course at the Open Center in New York City.

He continued his studies at Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India in At Arsha, he studies Ayurveda and yoga under Sri V. Vasudevan, who studied in the lineage of Brahmasri Poomulli Neelakantan Namboothiripad, Brahmasri Cherukalakapurath Krishnan Namboothiri, and Yogi Narayanji Maharaj.[15]
