Rani is the daughter of private officer K. Varadarajulu and violinist K.

Droupathy.

Career

She first contributed her voice to film at the age of seven for the Telugu movie Tyagayya (). By thirteen, Rani was vocalising for lead characters in films like Valaiyapathy.
